In many places the restaurant was closed at 2 p.m., but we received a very friendly welcome in Saloniki. We were hungry and the menu card was served immediately. As a welcome greeting everyone got a Greek Uuso schnapps. Although it was closed at 2 p.m., we were not turned away. That was great.

You call & ask if there is still a space available on the railing. No problem is told to you. At the reception you are not welcomed very friendly and led to an undesired table. When asked, you are almost "screamed at". After a long discussion they were able to clear a table for us with a view. Had they been honest from the start, we wouldn't have had a problem. Food was lekker but service very slow.

Waited for a table for 20 minutes despite reservation. During this time we were unfortunately not offered any drinks. We did not eat because we left the restaurant disappointed prematurely.

We cannot fully understand the good ratings. The Taramas starter was totally over-salted, although I'm really not sensitive to salty. We had to wait a long time for the main courses, it was Saturday evening, you can still understand that. It was quicker at other tables, although the guests came later. There was also a generous distribution of ouzo, some of which were brought back to the counter, as some guests didn't like it, but none of them ended up with us. The quality of the main dishes (calamares fried and Rhodos platter) was no more than average, it can be done better. We had to point out the ordered coffee and the request to be able to pay several times and waited a long time. Our waiter (tall and slim) was not attentive, so it worked better at other tables, where other staff also served. We have had enough of the Greek food for a while now, but since Saloniki has a lot of Swiss guests who are also made up of different nationalities, they will certainly not go under. I actually thought that the Corona crisis could have helped to make the local guests more aware and appreciate them more, but this does not seem to be the case here. After paying, we were given a book in which we should have registered what should have happened when we entered. We hadn't been able to observe this with other guests, so it worked without it.

I love the kitchen ... The bezitser family are always so nice. Ambience also great .... Unfortunately, the problem is so good that it is always so full!

There were three of us eating and after the main course was cleared, nobody from the service came over and asked if we wanted anything else. We sat in front of empty glasses for over 1 hour. At the table next to us sat Swiss, who was literally crawled into the A ..... We even had to go up front to pay ... The food was ok, the service under all sow. I have been working in service myself for many years and know what it means to serve a guest in a friendly and attentive manner.

We had nice experience there. Good to be early to sit next to the window to enjoy Rhein river view. Food was delicious. Their bread was also very nice, crispy outside soft inside. I had delicious shrimps in garlic olive oil. Service was very nice and attentive.

It was our first time at Saloniki last night. We had reserved for 6 people for 6 p.m., because of the bad weather we couldn't see Hohentengen, so we were there already at 5 p.m., but then with 3 people. We were greeted warmly and got a nice table right away. (Note: It is best to park approx. 100m further, the restaurant is a bit narrow). The starters came quickly and were great. We have adapted our main courses to something that went smoothly. The food itself was very good and extensive, so we already have our lunch today. We then had some questions about Hohentengen, which the boss answered in great detail, and she really took the time to do so. Class !!! As a farewell there was also a nice Christmas present. We will definitely go to Saloniki more often :-)

Food is good but not amazing.

Its the usual bad Greek restaurant, but admittedly there are worst. Tomotoes were not edible, fish was just ok, potatoes not eatable, tzatziki bad but cabbage was good. Service was so slow we had to wait 30 minutes for the ready made salads and more than 1 hour for the fish. So many better choices around. Dont trust the ratings.

Very delicious. The portions are good in size. The taste is great. I would have a suggestion for improvement, for Zaziki I would pass pita bread. The waitresses are very friendly. It has a great view to the Rhine. All very well done.

We have been to Saloniki a few times already and have eaten almost through the whole menu. Good Greek food aaund wines at fair prices. It is worth reserving but especially on the weekend days because the restaurant is running high. The staff is always friendly and always very quiet even if the people queue up outside.

Was ok for the budget, but certainly not a good choice for vegetarians

The food is delicious. The service is very nice, but was a bit overwhelmed when we were here on a Saturday night. At the weekend you should definitely book a table, because it is full. The location is great, with great views of the Rhine.

Lovely greek food ...

A big choice of Greek dishes, everything we tried was delicious. Relaxing atmosphere, cozy terrace with a great view on Rhein. They do not accept MasterCard credit cards, but there are two banks nearby where you can withdraw cash.

I was travelling with my bike , than i found that restaurant.Firsth, the soup was absolutely NOT tasty .Than I asked them to kindly recharge my phone because i needed to send some important email. But After the consummation in a loud and unpleasant tone of voice , they invited me to leave the restaurant, because i cannot stay longer near electricity to charge my phone. Kindly i explained that i was writing an important medical email but the waiter told me again with an unpleasant tone of voice to leave the restaurant otherwise he would have called the police. Then he insulted me and give a kick to my bike!!! Definitively a BAD EXPERIENCE . Maybe It was the wrong day but however in my opinion it is absolutely a Not recommended .

You have a beautiful view of the river Rhine. The service is very nice. The food tastes normal. Some fresh wind wouldn't hurt.
